Regardless of the career path that students will take in the future, learning the language of computers will be a huge leg up as students transition to the work force. In the Education Technology field, these skills are vital, in high demand, and sometimes hard to come by. There are numerous projections that many software engineering jobs will go unfilled due to lack of skilled workers in the next few years.
